Dear Diary...
On December 24, 2018 my family and I went to Banyuwangi to visit
Mount Ijen because my mother really wanted to go there to see Blue Fire.Traveling there for about a week by car. During the trip we also stopped in Surabaya. The city was very beautiful and clean with lots of flowers. planted in the middle of the city by the mayor. Many old buildings also can be used as a place to photograph.
We continue our trip to Banyuwangi,the traffic is good with used the new toll road.Finally we arrived in Banyuwangi at night.We stayed in Amira`s hotel.The hotel is good we feelt like in Bali because the atmosphere of hotel.
Next day we around the city by car.The city was so beautiful but the weather is too hot than Bekasi.We visited the beach in the city but in my opinion Ancol beach that I have visited before was more beautiful than this beach.After visited the beach we go back to our hotel because tomorrow we went to Mount Ijen.At 1 am we woke up to preraed all of them.At 2 am we were picked up by our tour guide.The trip to Mount Ijen was about one hour by using the car.The streets were so dark, there were rarely street lights because the journey passes through the forest where the people say the forest have tigers. The road is steep and there are many bends I felt dizzy on the trip.Finally we arrived at the entrance to Mount Ijen to reach the top of the mountain we have to walk two hours.The road was uphill and steep so you have to be very careful.If you are not strong enough to walk they provide transportation that is quite unique but I forget the name. The transportation is like a cart specially designed for humans.
We go back to our hotel to take a shower,we just have 2 hour utill our tour guide picked up.Next trip we went to Baliurang forest.This place was so beautiful different from other forest because almost all plants were dry.We surround the forest by car. There were still wild animals like zebra,cow,buffalo,bird and wild bulls so we should not be more than 5 pm because of the lack of street lights and it was feared that it can disturb the animals there. At the end of the forest there was a white sand beach but there were many wild monkeys there so we must be careful to guard our luggage.After playing with the sand we go back to our hotel.

But I am proud of my mother even though her leg hurts she was strong to walk to the top without used that tranportation.Finally we arrived to the top of the mountain.The view from the top was so beautiful.We are waiting for the sunrise to see blue fire but we were out of luck because the weather was foggy so the blue fire wasn't visible.My mother was dissapointed but she stills look happy.After the sunrise we go back,during the trip the view was so beautiful we can see many mountains from there.
